Right Tide

Surf forecasts for 104 breaks in California, Florida Atlantic, Hawaii, Mid-Atlantic, North Carolina and Virginia. Each one follows NOAA's wave models across that break's measured sea floor to where the wave breaks, and every number on it says where it came from.

Writing and apps

Right Tide is where I write about waves and weather, and where I put the apps I build. The writing is inspired by my ever changing relationship with the ocean and its science.

The apps come out of the same work. They run on your own machine.
